The true definition of love is - Choosing the highest good fro the other person. So the only way to know if someone is really truly in love with you is if they choose the highest good for you. They might just say i love you, but they have to prove it through their actions.

The person who is truly in love with you will not only tell you every chance they got but would also be supportive of your goals for yourself, repectful of your feelings and protective of you...basically they would do things to show you how much they truly love you.

well, it can't just go one way, both sides have to truly love each other for it all to work out...but you would never get tired and bored of the person, you'll have butterflies everytime you see them, even after years of seeing them, they tell you all their secrets without fear of what you'll think. they are completely honest because they know you'll understand...you both do things for each other everyday and every night. there's no worries of them lieing and cheating because you both have 100% trust without a doubt
