It could mean many different things...maybe he likes you and just wants to make sure that you have no problems with him hugging you. I'm wondering what you told him when he asked you how it felt? Your response was probably an indication to him if you reciprocate his feelings.

he's obviously flirting with you, either talking about how his body and muscles feel on your body or he was asking how it feels to you...mentally...that's kind of a wierd way to put that, but try to understand
