i am breastfeeding, but have got my period, and would like to take something for cramps, is it okay to take mydol, or tylenol womens??

It's not a good idea to take anything while breastfeeding because your child may have side affects. I have heard that with tylenol when taken while breastfeeding that the ingredients cause a reaction and can be very bad for the child.. My suggestion is to ask your doctor. I know it isnt that easy just to get to the doctor's with a new baby, but maybe you can even call one of those numbers that you can talk to a certified nurse. They will give you the proper answers.

yes you can. just don't go crazy!
things are not as strict as when you were prego. What ever you put in your body does make its way somehow into your breastmilk, but in minimal amounts. Your body is a natural filter and when your body produces milk it takes only what it needs from you. so don't worry about it, it really won't have an affect on your baby!.

yes it is OK to take regular tylenol. talk to your docotr but I have breast fed 2 children taking tylenol perodically as needed. Try to not take it alot but with my 2nd I had real bad headaches and anyone who has kids know headaches makes doing things with them difficult.

I know tylenol is ok why you are pregnant so I dont think it will affect anything when you breast feed.
