Niether is immoral. The problem with Christians is that they do NOT practice what they preach. Its sad that so many Christians are such hypocrites.

I am an atheist with respect to the God of the Hebrew Bible. I think that particular description of a "god" is as unbelievable as Zeus or Thor or any of hundreds of gods that everyone disbelieves.
However, I an open to the possibility of a supreme being, making me an agnostic. I just think that if there is such a supreme being, it seemlingly has decided to only reveal itself through physical laws. Some people claim to have felt the presence of God, but there is no repeatable experiment that can be done to demonstrate this. I expect that there is a more natural explanation for the feelings these people have had.

The whole agnostic definition is perplexing. According to the wikipedia, I am an agnostic theist. I have no knowledge that God exists but I still believe in God. I have read many statements on here from agnostics who do not believe in God. I wonder too, why are the not labeled atheist if they do not believe in God? There is at least one person on here that I would respect his answer on this subject and that would be devlsadvoct.

Atheists: do not believe in god at all
Agnostics: unsure if god exists. This is further separated into two categories: hard and soft. Hard agnostics are unsure if there is a god but lean more towards "no, he doesn't. Soft agnostics lean more towards, "perhaps there is."

A agnostic { without knowledge} has a philosophical view that the value of certain claims-particularly theological claims in regarding God, gods or deities is unknown and irrelevant to life.
Atheist- do not claim to know there is no God, only not to believe in one.

to follow on l'chaim....
an agnostic states...I don't know...
that's literally what the word means...
an atheist would claim that there is no god.
in the 1800's , some atheists took their thinking to the next step...and they referred to themselves as NIhilists
an agostic, usually will listen to any number of opinions; but, skeptically, usually respond....."I don't know" and mean it
