We don't pray for God. We pray to Him. He is the giver of all things, so we pray asking for things we want and need and thanking Him for the things we have. All good things come from God, so naturally we thank Him for what He gives us. Don't you thank your friends when they give you a gift or thank your parents for the things they gave you as a child?

This question is totally nonsensical. You obviously don't understand what you must really hate (based on your other questions.)

Wow, another person with a bug up their butt about religion. Cripes, can't you find an easier target? Like bald fat people or something?

We pray to glorify God. We aren't worried about God.

Get a clue or shut up.

Well Chucky,
We don't pray for God. We pray for others and things and whatever comes to mind. I thought that you would know that. Wrong theology, eh?

Is that what you are going to tell Him when you get there, " God, I prayed FOR you." heh.

It's nice to be close to one's family...

The problem with most Christians, atheists, and other non-believers is that they call Christianity a religion when, in reality, it's a RELATIONSHIP, people...!

It's not all about following a set of rules...!
It’s about joining His family…!

When we believe in Jesus and believe in our heart that He suffered, died for everyone’s sins, and rose again, we're granted the right to become children of God... So, the way I see it, we have our Father who is in heaven (I prefer to call Him "Daddy"), Jesus is our Brother - as He said that whoever does His Father's will is mother, daughter, and brother to Him, and the Holy Spirit who finishes the work to be done IN us as well as handles whatever tasks He wishes to accomplish THROUGH us...

Like I said: It's nice to be close to one's family...
