i dont want to ruin my hair by putting color in it all the time...sooo what should i do???

The only way to lighten your hair is to damage it. Sunlight, peroxide, lemon juice all have the same effect - they destroy the colour inside your hair, and leave your hair more brittle. If you want lighter hair then you're going to have to put up with the fact that your hair is going to be damaged by that.

If you rinse it realllly well, it should become a little lighter because the buildup of air products tends to make your hair darker. Also, you might want to put some lemon juice on it, and lay out in the sun for awhile, if it's hot right now where you live.

The only way you're really going to be able to do that is by dying it. You could try putting lemon juice or beer in your hair but it won't noticeably lighten it. If you don't like the idea of dying, try highlights.

I had really dark hair too but then in the summer time is always went outside and then the sun automatically lighted it up even if I didn't want to.

you could try going out in the sun with lemon juice in your hair. It works but it stinks

Just go to the beach if you live near one. The sun bleaches your hair.

I heard lemon juice will make it lighter but i don't know if that is true try it out then lemme know
