I don't think it's pushy, and I don't think it makes the girl look easy, either. If a woman were to ask me out, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that she was easy, but maybe that's just me not having enough insight on people.

As other people have said, it can help guys who are shy about approaching the ladies. And besides, when the woman asks him out, she doesn't have to dress it up like a date; she could just say something like, "Hey, if you're not doing anything else, would you like to go grab some coffee?" That would be just like two friends getting together, and at that point, that is what the guy and the lady are--friends. I don't think any reasonable person would think that to be pushy, promiscuous, etc. on the woman's part.

it is a gradual women's empowerment wherein a woman can choose the alfa male or not....women in western society may involved like some other earth species....have the power to choose a mate....even today, a woman can choose from a sperm bank had have a child based on the donors intelligence, physical traits, race, and no history of genetic diseases, or cancer. without a male being around ..Muslims fear this as all truly dominant male society.....the man may be involving to the status of women had over a hundred years ago....my opinion is that you have the power to ask guys out or not....may be getting used too...as a male, walking across the dance floor and getting turned down builds character...

Having married a strong, confident woman, who would have asked me out if I had not beat her to it, I say it is fine. Guys don't like the guessing games some woman play. A man who is secure in his masculinity does not feel threatened by a woman who knows what she wants. There are lots of ways to flirt though and most men find that fun. It depends on the man.

It's great. Some guys are very shy to ask, but when a girl approaches them they may turn out to be very interesting. In Dutch we have a saying that still waters have deep bottoms. A silent person can be very interesting if approached.

I agree with you. Its a bit of a turn off. If you ask a guy out, you may get a date, but I think he would have less respect for you. Just my opinion.

No, no, it's not pushy. Let them ask. The more love, the less war. Have a great day, and ask me out, if we ever meet. :)

If I wanted a particular guy, I would ask him out, but then I suppose I would have to deal with his thinking I will be easy.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. I have been asked out by a couple of women. Didn't think much about it. It is all about equality. :)
