I think stuff in the Bible is happening. In Isaiah I think it's pretty scary to read about it in the Bible, and see it happening.

Approx 245,000 people die daily. For them endtime has come.
Apostle Paul thought Jesus was returning during his lifetime (Paul died about 67AD). So two thousand years later we are still here and people have been preaching and teaching Jesus is coming that whole time. He is going to return-on schedule-when the Church is complete and not before.
Jesus said, Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him (Matthew 24:42-44).
Apostle Paul wrote, Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5).
Don't worry about his coming-Just get your house (SOUL+SALVATION) in order and then you to can pray the Revelation prayer:
Book Revelation 22:20 KJV
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Contemporary English Version
The one who has spoken these things says, "I am coming soon!" So, Lord Jesus, please come soon!
Get ready-
Psalms 90:10 KJV
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Contemporary English Version
We can expect seventy years, or maybe eighty, if we are healthy, but even our best years bring trouble and sorrow. Suddenly our time is up, and we disappear.
Life even at eighty years is just like a vapor or puff of wind
when compared to time and God. SHORT!

"ages?" Do you really think that there is more suffering in the world now than there was 100, 500, 1000 years ago? Get real -- things are pretty darn good right now despite the problems we have in the world.
Since there's never been anybody in the entire history of the world that has "come back" after dying, I'd say the odds of jesus ever showing up again are awfully slim. Instead of living your life in anticipation of something that's probably never going to happen (and which your own holy book says nobody knows when it will happen), how about making the most of the time you've got to make the world a better place? Even if you believe the fairy tales about jesus, I'm sure he'd approve of that :)

Yes, the world's problems are almost overwhelming—and not just because of the wars and conflicts that grab the headlines. Every day, millions of people all over the world face a host of other disasters: famine, disease, economic chaos, racism, ecological and natural catastrophes, and so forth.
Do these mean Jesus' second coming is very near? It certainly may be, because He indicated that just before He comes again the world 's problems will increase. He declared, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places" (Matthew 24:7). While these problems are part of every age, the Bible says they will increase in intensity toward the end.
And yes, you are right: The only final answer to our problems is Jesus Christ, for when He comes again, He will rule the world with perfect justice and peace. In that day, the Bible says, "He will reign ... with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever" (Isaiah 9:7).
The Bible cautions us against trying to set the date for Jesus' second coming. But it also urges us to be ready and watchful "while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Are you ready for that day? You can be, by committing your life to Christ today.

"Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a great sound of trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matthew 24: 30,31
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37-39

This question is so similar to another one asked earlier today so I will give a similar answer.
Yes, Jesus Christ will return soon in all of His glory and EVERY knee will bow ... It is promised in the Bible and God cannot lie. Jesus' return will be in His perfect timing and on His perfect terms.
Instead of ... getting opinions on Yahoo Answers go to the Source of Answers and read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Those of us who do read it see so many things happening around the world that make us think the end is coming very soon. We have seen all or nearly all combinations and permutations of evil. We have seen all or nearly all combinations and permutations of mankind trying to save himself.
As we hear news of earthquakes and wars around the world we wonder if this is it. We know that God's Word has been translated into nearly every language in the world so that ALL people will have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, in their own language. Therefore those who do reject Him will be without excuse.
Since 1997 when I watched Princess Diana's funeral along with millions (I think there were 50 million in the United States alone)of people around the world and prayed The Lord's Prayer along with many of those watchers -
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
your kingdom come,
your will be done
...
Matthew 6:9,10 (NIV)
Knowing that Jesus also said,
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20 (NIV).
Putting together promise, prophecy, world events, the spread of the Good News AND the prayer prayed by quite a few more than two people, my question for you is Have YOU accepted Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior? I certainly hope so. It isn't enough to just THINK Jesus is coming soon.
Amen. Come LORD Jesus!

nobody can even make a guess as to when he's coming, because only he knows. it might not be for another thousand years, it may happen in 1 second. so i would have to tell you that asking that question is only going to get a lot of answers like "hes never coming back" or "he never left". nobody will give you an answer because it wouldnt matter if we did or not.

Yes. He is. So even if I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I can be saved.
I have done some personal research on this. I have signs that He is coming this Friday night, or Saturday morning, depending on where you live. I'm not saying that He is, but I'll show you what I mean. Yes, I'm serious.

Yes very soon. Anyone who reads the Bible can tell you, every day we see something new on the news that the Bible has told us to watch for.

while i fully expect Jesus to appear, it is probably more likely that i will go to Him, before He returns to this earth.
take for instance that lady that was driving in the tunnel and the 14 ton section of concrete fell on her and killed her.
be ready......as the thief in the night..... could be tonight....
