I have a daughter in the 6th grade and would be very concerned and want to hear that a male teacher is making her feel uncomfortable. It wouldn't matter if he was creepy or not! If it is a bad match why drag it on? However, I would want to know that there was really something going on first. You need to learn to adapt to different learning environments. Some of my best teachers were men.
What really makes me angry was his reaction in front of the class...no one...I repeat, no one puts my daughter on the spot and as an adult he should have known better. He should have just signed it without making a stink! He sounds like a real poophead...and I would want my daughter out of his class anyway. So my answer is - talk to your parent (s) about this and let them help you sweetie...

you shouldn't get into trouble for saying that you wanted to switch because you were put in the wrong one, the principal probably isn't going to tell the teacher what you said so it should be fine. You can have your parent(s) talk to them about switching classes if theres any trouble.

You don't have to explain your reasons to the teacher. As long as you have been honest with your parents and your principal you are fine.. The teacher kind of put you on the spot.. but he may have wanted to know if there was a way to improve your class experience..

First of all you should have never told him anything.. you don't need to explain your self.. Go to the prinsipal and just tell him that you do not feel comffortable about the way he teaches.. tell them that you don't understand the way he teaches and that it might be better if you switch classes.. good luck!

he can't get you in trouble for saying that. you just didn't want to hurt his feelings. it shouldn't be a reason why they won't change you.
