Sounds like you might want to consult with a neurologist to first rule out anything in that arena of medicine. If you check out fine with the neurologist, then you might want to work with a speech therapist to see if you can get back to your normal self.

The most important thing is to get right on this since it just started happening. Don't take this as scary, okay, but anyone can have a very, very small stroke at any age. It doesn't mean anything but that someone had a small stroke. These are the things you need a neurologist to rule out.

Good luck and, silly as it sounds, don't worry ... you can't change it, right? All you can do is go forward, think positive, and get checked out! God bless!

I would also urge you to get checked out, could be signs of a stroke. Don't wait- it would be better to find out it's nothing than risk losing your life or permanent damage. Even young people can have a stroke. And I don't think it's "nothing" when you have a sudden change- somethings causing it!

~~~how long has this been going on for you?? Do you get head aches or blurry vision??? Does it sound like your slurring your words,,,If so I strongly suggest talking to your Dr. asap. Its not good to have sudden changes like that,,,I hope you have someone at home or close friend you can tell this about untill you get to the Dr. ~~~~
