First of all, there is no word that can be translated from the Arabic of the Quran to "Jews".
According to the truth of the Quran, all the twelve tribes of Israel became one people under Musa, known as Yahuudi, which word can honestly translated "Penitents".
Muslims have no reason to hate those who are known as Jews but the Bible revived "Jews" for what the Quran confirms was the "Trick" of the crucifixion, and Christian influence further incited hatred against Jews, which encouraged the translation of the Quran to falsify Yahuudi as Jews, which is an indication of the extremism of the Hoax of Christianity.
The Bible proves the Quran correct in describing the crucifixion of Christ a Hoax, and all that comes with it as conjecture, or as extensions of the Hoax.
Christianity worsened the Muslim/Jew relationship with the Arabs by the establishment of a Jewish state called Israel in Palestinian lands.
The Jews are actually renegade Muslims who, by their attempt on the life of Christ, succeeded in having two thieves crucified on the celebration of the Passover and into the Sabbath in breach of the Sabbath and the law that required Jewish leadership to have victims of a hanging disposed of, executed and buried, within one day (Deuteronomy 21:22-23), which was forgotten and ignored, and which they failed to acquire in their last-minute attempts to have the Roman Governor remove the victims, after sunset on the Preparation Day, the day before the Sabbath, which left the thieves to face complete crucifixion onwards from the Sabbath.
The Yahuudi who followed the teachings of Christ are known as Nazaaraa (Helpers) in the Quran, which was falsely converted to "Christian" by Christian influence in the misunderstanding and mis-translation of the Quran by Arabs and Arabic scholars, again stressing the extremism of the Hoax of Christianity.
Arab Muslims therefore cannot be accused of being jealous of Jews without having Christianity and Christians accept the blame for the Crusades into Arab country and their influence on Arab development or under-development of Islam.
Without the Christian influence and invasion of the Middle East, Jews and Muslims may have been able to fuse into the Islam that is intended by the Quran, which is worth looking into for the future of World peace and Islam.

Interesting question. Do you mean spiritual jealousy or jealous of their intellectual and cultural history? People who want control of even a little dried-out country when they already have huge countries of their own sound like they're jealous of something. But I don't think we're going to be able to prove it one way or another for a while.

Not Jealous, just ignorant. How can they believe that a god would need to do such frivolous things that he did in the bible. We're not all that... How pompous of humans to think that a god would do silly things like flood the earth to start over...

i dont think so. if anythng theyre an opposing religious belief system.
i dont think its jealous, i think its just rival religions vying for superiority. a sort of "if we destroy you out of existence it validates our beleifs" or a "if we kill more our religion is more right".
