Hon, its really ok. In HS I didnt wanna take PE out of sheer laziness, and instead took ROTC, which I wanted to anyways. In the end, I found myself getting fat in my freshman year, and I ended up going from 217 to 165 over the course of the next year. I ended up hitting the gym instead and skipping lunch, and I'm sure my constant practicing guitar helped too.
For you, if PE is not your thing, its ok. I know you want an answer to get you out of it right now, I know you dont like it, you might even think that because of certain parts of your body, you dont like the boys checking you out, it makes you feel uncomfortable, etc... Plus maybe sweating isn't exactly your thing either. Eitherway, and whatever the reason it really is that you dont like PE, think of it like this. Its only temporary, and IF your school does offer something else aside from PE, try looking into that for next semester, or next year. You never know.
But, in the meantime you'll survive. Try to make the best of it in the meantime. Yeah I know, you want reults NOW. Patience is a virtue, and its something that you acquire with age. You'll be fine....

I can understand what you are saying. The social lines are never more clearly drawn than when you are in P.E. A required course that teaches you nothing, and was only designed to give kids a way to expend energy and exercise during a day that would otherwise be filled with sitting around. Just dress everyday. If you do that, your P.E. teacher will probably let you slide. Unless you are planning a career in either some Pro sport, or being a P.E. teacher, I find the time in P.E. to be a waste of good intellect. Study hard, and get good grades. Pass gym class as a minimum. But, you will never find a situation in a normal job that require you are good at dodge-ball. Bear with it and get through.

I hated PE too! I just tried to find a couple good friends that I could relate to - a lot of girls hate PE so it turned out to be fun and I made a lot of new friends. It's kind of hard to get out of doing any of the physical activity stuff, so just try it out. No one said you had to be awesome at it, right? A nd don't be self conscious or anything around the guys because half the time they're too dumb to even notice what's going on. LOL.

It is a class you have to take so just take it. If the boys say anything it is because they are boys and they usually will say stuff so just ignore them do the best you can and that is all you can do, besides taking PE with boys can be a fun thing because it is fun to play sports with boys.

Hated PE too, I'ts probably required, so you will just have to suck it up and get through it best you can. Just remember the more you hate it, the better you'll feel when it's over

PE is pretty asinine, but it's a requirement for most states. I would just deal as best you can, or if you really want you can get a letter to be excused.

well, you're always gonna end up having to do something you don't like. i ABSOLUTELY hated math class when i was in high school. couldn't stand it. but i had to do it or else i would fail. same thing with PE. just gotta tough it out and get through it. nothing lasts forever. especially PE :)

i know it stinks. i think they should teach eighth grade health separate too. 13 - 14 boys are not nearly as mature for that.

arent all classes mixed with both genders? anyhow, unfortunately if you have to take it, you just got to grind it out. once its done you will be glad. most people like PE though hmm.
