Hi Elric yes i remembered those were the Good Old days, and you forgot the Mary-Jane, the Gum-Ball that took for ever to break, and the pop candy that will pop in your mouth, and the Straw powder candy, that you used to peel the papers off or suck them up, some times until you will like lose your breath, we also had all of these sweets back home in Panama` and they were also 4 to 5 for a Penny and 2 for a Ha' of a Penny.. Don't forget you could also go to the drug stores and Liquor stores, and the shoe shine store, to pick these sweets up. Thank you Elric, this is a very good Question you took us back to our Child hood memories days. Know please bring back some more good Jokes!! We are missing them. Take care friend, God Bless.

I remember them they were pretty fizzy, but i ended up spending my pocket money on that space dust, a bit more fizzy, and a bit more of a pop and crackle inside the mouth.

You can still get them

Sherbert is easy to make, all you need is icing sugar, critic acid, and bicarbonate of soda, mix them together and you've got a prescription for dental work.

I can find the actual instructions if anyone wants them.
