When you accept Christ ..it is a "personal relationship"..Jesus doesn't need a classification, neither do you...If you want to join a Church, thats fine...I'm just saying we are Chritians, not the church we attend.

I was raised a catholic and even went to a catholic grade school
I have since been born again but I still have some of those catholic teachings inside me. By reading and studying the Bible I am learning how to become closer to God and closer to Christ.
Talk to the minister, there might be classes that you have to attend and you will need to be baptized. The first step is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confess your sins to Jesus and ask for forgiveness. Ask for guidance and surrender your will to God. Let God be a part of your life and go from there. God bless.

hello friend, I am a former catholic, I accepted Jesus when I was 19 years old.
All I did was I asked Jesus in faith to be the Lord of my life. I told him that I trusted him with the rest of my life and that I wanted to live a life that pleases him.
Christianity is all about a personal one on one relationship with the creator of the universe. You can have that relationship because Jesus died for you.
Do you understand that you have lived a life which has separated you from the Creator, and you understand that God loves you anyway and sent Jesus to die so that Jesus could take your punishment upon himself?
God wants there to be total peace, love, and openness between you and him, Jesus's death makes that possible.
If you believe this, you can talk to God right now and tell him what you are feeling. Tell him that you believe what Jesus taught and that you are trusting him to help you in life.
Don't forget to read the bible, especially the Gospels in the New Testament because they tell you everything that Jesus taught. But don't just read the words, put them into practice in your life.
Also, join a church! You don't have to go through this alone! There are entire communities of people who want to help you and be your friends on your journey.
God bless you! If you ever have any questions, send me an email :)

This is easier than breathing. Simply give your life over to Jesus Christ. Invite Him into your heart, and He will come. Trust in Him, and you will a Christian. There are no middlemen needed for this. It's between you and Him, the Savior and the Light.
God Bless & Good Luck!

by confessing the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior knowing that God raised him from the dead for you. by confession and beliefs. that gets you born again. now religion is a way of worship if you prefer to worship in a christian atmosphere than that be but it is all about the relationship that you have with God. knowing that no man cometh to the father unless he comes through the son. study for yourself Gods word. your conversion or so to say has already taken place. welcome to the family. your past doesn't reflect on what you are doing now. a christian is a person christ like. being or shall i say daily trying to become as christ was and christ meaning the anointed Jesus Christ, and following his teachings.

Well the only thing i can say is that the reilgion isn't a big part of the whole thing. Someone who is drinking and having sex all day and also clubbing and disrepecting God, would call themselves Christians adn think that they are going toHeaven cuz they htink that they are Christians. It truly matters by ur relationship with God. If you truly take care of ur relationship with God and make a true commitement to God and live ur life Holy adn spreading His word, and asre baptized in the name of Jesus it is better than saying oh am i a Christian? But i want to tell u to e-mail me if u need help on thsi question or htis subject. My point of this whole thing and also my point of living is to spread His word and to let ppl know who God really is. But um, the point of procees to becoming a true Christian, is if u really truly believe that Jesus died for u on the cross for ur sins, then u are automatically converted. If u really want to give ur all to God and u really love Him then thats' good. Ur becoming a true Christina. But u also have to follow His rules which someone (non-believer) might say "oh thsi is hard, i can't do this, but the thing is God doeesn't want us to ruin our body by having sex b4 marriage or by drugs or smokin or by clubbing adn listening to secular music that really gives a bad mesage without u knowing it until someone tells u. But yeah, u have to also help and spread the Word so that u can help the ppl in need. So please if u have more questions u can e-mail me. Thanks. God Bless u.

It is quite simple. To become a born again Christian, you must say a prayer like this one.
Jesus, I am a sinner, and I come to you and repent of my sins. I acknowledge that you are the one who died on the cross for my sins, and I invite you into my heart and life, and accept you as my savior. In the precious name of Jesus, amen
If you said this prayer, you have become a born again Christian, and I praise the Lord for this for you!! Now study your bible every day, and stay in God's word.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Keep praying daily.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
And repent of your sins daily, because we all sin evey day of our lives. That is why we need to study the word of God so we can learn from it, what God expects from us, and learn how to obey Him by learning His laws.
He loves you so very much!!
God bless you

Confess Jesus Christ Lord of your life. Believe in your heart He died on the cross for your sins & raised up for your justification. Heart faith is important. God looks at the heart.
Confess Jesus your Lord & Saviour befor others.
With true heart faith & confession, comes conversion. You become born of God. Born of the Spirit. A born again Christian.
It is God's doing. God sent His Only Begotton Son that Whosoever believes in Him, will not perish, but will receive / have everlasting life.
Believing is believing in your heart. Trust & obey, there is no other way to be happy in Jesus is to trust & obey.
