Obviously your friend's mom has a reason for grounding her, so you need to respect that. Interference may make a bad situation even worse. How fortunate for your friend to have a mom who cares and is strong enough to set rules, and establish penalties when those rules are broken. It seems to me that your friend has a mom who really loves her and wants to guide her into becoming someone you can be proud to associate with.

You all need to stop! This girl was grounded for a reason. There will be other times to go to the mall. Respect her parents decision for their daughter. If you try to get her out of it, you will be undermining them and they will eventually not let her hang out with you anymore. It also shows how much respect you have for yourself and your friend.
Forget about the mall.

You have to live withe the fact that she is grounded. Yes like said before, respect that. If she is you best friend then you should realize that if you gonna be eacher others best friend, then respect her mom's desicion. And besides, if she was grounded, then I don't think that she should be allowed to go to the mall anyways.
