the biggest help America can be to Israel is actively supporting the Israeli defense forces.
What I mean by actively supporting is allowing the Israeli military to defend its people and not cry out for a cease fire the minute the other side is losing.
As for Iran its unlikely that Iran will actually do something against Israel because without Israel it wont have anyone to blame its problems on. Also the fact that they know that if they launch and unprovoked attack against Israel the rest of the world will tear it apart economically, politically, and even militarily. This is the same reason why Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations dont attack Israel because they are better used as a scape goat to the masses to explain why their own lives are so difficult.

Yes, Israel is God's chosen people but so is every other country in the world. The message of Christ should have taught us that. "Go to all the world and tell the good news". In answer to your question. In some way, yes we would help Israel.
