You are absolutely correct! The Bible has and can be proven Archaeologically, Prophetically, and Historically..
I mean what are the odds on JUST ONE prophecy coming to pass, and the Bible has tons more than that. Here is just one example..The city of tyre in Ezek 26

Tyre was a rich city. Goods from all over the world were bought and sold in its busy port. As long as its people could make money, they were happy. They did not worship God.

But Tyre was a small city surrounded by large, powerful kingdoms. Attacking armies would leave the city alone, as long as the rich businessmen of Tyre paid them lots of money. Sometimes these peace deals hurt the surrounding countries, which included God’s people (read Psalm 83).

God did not allow Tyre to get away with sin. Through His prophet, Ezekiel, God told everyone what would happen to Tyre. Here are just seven things that God said in chapter 26. Did they all come true? Let us see.

1. Nebuchadnezzar would destroy the city (verses 7-8). Yes! The mighty Babylonian king destroyed the mainland part of the city, forcing everyone to live on the island part of the city.

2. Other nations would help destroy the city (verse 3). Yes! Persia, Greece, Rome, and others all had their turn against Tyre.

3. The city would be flattened (verses 4 and 14). Yes! Alexander the Great took the mainland part of the city to pieces, stone by stone.

4. It was to become a place for the spreading of nets (verses 5 and 14). Yes! That was all the people could do after the city was destroyed.

5. Its stones and timbers were to be laid in the sea (verse 12). Yes! Alexander used the stones and timbers of the old city to build a road out to the island, and then he conquered that part, too.

6. Other cities would be afraid when Tyre fell (verses 15-18). Yes! Other strong cities in the area soon gave in to Alexander when they heard about Tyre.

7. The city would not be inhabited or rebuilt (verses 20-21). Yes! After Alexander was finished, the rich and powerful people of Tyre never came back. Today, there is a small town there, but it is called Soûr.
This was no "lucky guess" on Ezekiel’s part. When we see prophecies like this come true, we can know that the Bible is from God, not man.

For those who would say the Bible is not the Word of God, or that the Bible contains numerous errors I would say this: Paul could say in 2nd Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God." That's the Greek word, "theopneustos" meaning "God-Breathed." Every single word was given from God to 40 different men, and 2nd Peter 1:21 adds: "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." Now that was the Old Testament. The New Testament wasn't in existence when Paul used these verses. He was telling the churches in his letters what had happened in the past, but in John 16:12-13, Jesus talked about the coming of the New Testament. He says, "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."
That's the New Testamant. And we can say with John 17:17, "Your Word is Truth." Today, we have 66 books written by 40 different individuals on 3 continents covering a period of 1,500 years and there's not one mistake, regardless of what some of the critics say. They haven't studied God's Word enough to know the truth. Among the writers we had kings, poets, philosophers, prophets, scholars and fisherman. And I want you to know we have all of the Word of God today. Someone says, "Yes, but we don't have the original manuscripts" Who said so?
We have copies totalling 24,800. Now, how do we know that they're right? Well, if you take 20 items and you compare them and 19 state one thing and one doesn't, then the one is in error. We've got 24,800 manuscripts that exist today to compare one against another and we have another 80,000 quotations from the church fathers, enough to put the entire Bible together with the exception of 11 verses. Take the 80,000 quotations from the church fathers and the 24,800 manuscripts for a total of 104,800 and you have all of God's Word dozens and hundreds of times. This is so because God's Word is literally flawless. After computers have compared millions, or even billions, of letters in analyzing the 104,800 manuscripts the texts are basically flawless. So, don't listen to the critics.

The prophets of the OT & NT have been proven true prophets. Because their prophecies came true. Some are still to come though.

The test if a prophet is a true prophet of the true God, is that their prophecies come true. The Word of God is tried, tested & found true. Also, point to God & doesn't tempt others away from God. God is a God of His Word.

You can discern false doctrines, because they add to or take away from God's Word. They will turn you away from the truth of God's salvation.

The Koran tempts / intimidates people from coming to the
truth of the LORD God of the Bible.

Joseph Smith said the Lord God said, then His prophecies didn't come to past. Like that Jesus was building His temple in Missouri, returning before Joseph Smith would turn 80+.

Ms. White of the 7th Day Adventist was proven a false prophet.

JW's belief contradict with God's Word also.

blackacre, Read Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions.

Isaiah is proven a true prophet. And His book was found in 95+% entirety in the dead sea scrolls & reveals the same things as our current bible translations do.

This is just one. There are 1000s examples. Every word is prophetic. It is the Word of God.

Name an event it predicted.

Any event.

Name one single event predicted by the Bible.

Ummmmmm... Paradise, below:
Name one single event ever predicted by the Bible that occurred AFTER THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN. Anyone can predict something that is written in the same damn book. Come on: anything that took place AFTER THE BIBLE.

Is Harry Potter real then if book one prophesies something that is then written about in book three?

Umm: Heresyhun (below): so people DID keep living there, eh? And the destruction took, er, hundreds and hundreds of years to occur... ummmm... six or seven hundred years for a particular city to fall, eh... and even then, people kept living there although the prophesy you cite has them never coming back, eh...

How is that Prophesy? I predict that a Middle Eastern nation will be conquered by a Western nation in the next 20 years... does that make me a prophet? You're INTERPRETING, not reading prophesy...

OK, Read Ezekiel Chapter 37, which was written circa 573 B.C.

It describes the rebirth of the nation of Israel. At the time it was written, Ezekiel was a captive who was living in Babylon, as King Nebuchadnezzar had sacked and burned Jerusalem on August 14, 586 B.C.

Later, in 70 A.D. the Romans conquered Jerusalem, destroyed the Temple of Herod and began the diaspora, literally exiling the Jews to the far corners of the earth.

From the time, Nebuchadnezzar conquered the divided Kingdoms of Israel and Judah the nations of Israel and Judah ceased to exist. During this time they were governed by;

Babylon
Medo-Persia
Greece
Rome
Arab
Crusaders
Islamic
Ottoman Empire
and lastly the British Empire from 1917 to 1948

On May 15, 1948 the nation of Israel was reborn as Ezekiel had prophesied 2,500 years before.

I hope this helps. Grace and Peace!

Nobody can ever prove that the Bible is the word of God. In fact, it is full of contradictions, flaws, and is a fabrication of men, who later revised and edited the original texts to compliment their particular corrupt agendas. There are no verifiable prophecies or predictions that have come to pass. Fanatics try to create connections to events which, when analyzed, turn out to be mere coincidences or made-up nonsense.

I do not think you are asking a question, but if you are you also answered it. The point is that if those things that have come to pass, they were pre told by the hand of GOD so it has to be the words of GOD, and not made up stories.
