Why would he mind? The Hebrew and Greek letters were all One Size... no small or capital letters.

Probably not, but when I use the name God, I like it to be with a capital G. Just me.

It's not just an honorific. The word "God" means something different than the word "god". Just like "John McCain is a democrat" means something different than "John McCain is a Democrat".
