You are right. Why is the devil and his works excepted more than God and his works. You can get on the street corner in bikinis if you are advertising for a beer store but you can not sit out and preach the word. The world excepts everything that God does not. It is ok to kill in certain situations according to the law, but if you cheat on your spouse nothing is done unless you are in the military.

So exactly when did you discover that you had a prejudice against people with learning difficulties, such that you thought you could use their condition as a slur (for which there is a special Yahoo category of being reported, btw) against people who, actually, probably DON'T hate Christians, they just don't AGREE with you? And you reveal much about how uncomfortable you are with that by holding the mentally deficient up as objects of contempt. Shame on you, I'm glad you're not a representative of MY set of beliefs.

Actually Christians tend to score lower on IQ tests (which, by the way are used to determine if someone is mentally retarded (any score bellow 79)) than atheists.
The sound you're hearing is the monkey wrench of logic being thrown into the gears of your flawed reasoning

Fight mental retardation today, come embrace the faith where we believe in talking donkeys, turning rivers to blood, people rising from the dead, people being swallowed by whales and returning. If you can't believe these are true you must be mentally retarded!

I don't hate God, I'd like something personal to happen before I can say I believe though. Saying I'm going to burn in Hell for my sins just doesn't convince me to serve a loving God.

no, i just think it's a lot of hardened hearts. it's much easier to live a life of self worth then self denial. i did it for a while and while it sure was easier - it was no where near as fulfilling or rewarding!

That's a juvenile statement. "You don't agree with me, so you are retarded." Come on, you can do better than that.
