February 16, 1980....I was 18 and he was 24. We married at my mother's church. We only had 40 quests, because we had a bad storm move in. My colors were picked by my Mom, pink since it was near Valentines. We wanted to get married on Valentine's Day, but it was a Thursday, and my fiancee just started a new job. So, we married on the Saturday following. My uncle married us, his first wedding, and it was about an hour long. It was long till I thought everyone would be asleep before he got through. But it must have worked because, we celebrated our 26th this year. We used pink roses and hearts...remember this was years and years ago, so we didn't have the big new things that you lucky brides have now. That was when fountains for the cakes first came out! Yes, I did have the fountain, but I would love to have a do over with all the new ideas and colors that we never dreamed of. Maybe we will get remarried on the 50th.....
God bless us all............

I'm getting married in a little over 9 weeks, November 25 in the late afternoon, at Low Head on the north coast of Tasmania. A beach wedding. I grew up at the beach and am going home to be married, all sea colours and my dress is blue as white/ivory does not suit me.
I will be 26, partner 30.
60 people at the wedding, for us that is big as we originally wanted less than 40! Reception is being held at the same site in a marquee, just a very casual BBQ style meal. We had a budget and have stuck to it, everything including all fees, rings, dress, suit, photography, reception, marquee, table and chair hire is under $4,000 (aus)

My husband and I were married in 2005. Our wedding is very different. Do to unfortunate circumstances we was married in prison. We had planned a park wedding and were down to the "two week period". Well we found out that because of double booking that the park we wanted wasn't available and then of course my husband had taken a friend back to the airport and his friend had dropped a certain "package" needless to say that messed up what we had planned. But, there was a beauty about what had happened. My husband and I decided that we wanted two close friends to stand up for our marriage and my three boys. It was really the perfect wedding. All I needed was the people who believed in us there to celebrate with us. If anything this has taught us to love even that much more. I was 36 and he was 34. It doesn't matter where you have your wedding or how big your wedding is, all that really matters is that the two who are making and taking these vows are committed to the relationship and to each other. The rest will come with time. I have known my husband for 20 years or more and within the good and the bad we have always kept in contact and always had cared about one another even when we were married to different people. It is a wonderful feeling to marry your true love.

I am getting married in late spring/early summer of 07. We are doing a beach wedding in Charleston, Sc. So far the guest list includes over 400 people. This is a second marriage for both of us. We are doing all the things that we could not do in the first one, so that it is a dream wedding for both of us. We are doing a full military wedding and our colors are navy and gold(US Navy colors) since he is navy( his idea but it works). we both will be 28. We each have 8 people on each side of the bridal party and 2 flower girls and 2 ring barriers. Our children. Good Luck!!

It's a moderate wedding--120 people, $8000
We were married in a theme of "Old Hollywood" because we both love movies/films and we were married in a GORGEOUS1920s theatre in Kansas City, Missouri.
We are having things like movie posters with our faces put up, and we are having little chocolate Oscars given away to the "most eligible bachelor" instead of the garter toss. :-) We are using traditions but we are also giving it some personality.
I was/am 22.
We were married a week before our fourth anniversary.

I wasl married in 2001, I was 21 years old, as was my bride. We had a pretty big wedding. We didn't really have much of a motiff. I think the colors were silver and burgundy.
