Okay this is the deal. I have been seeing someone for a while. He is a good person. Maybe I am getting way out of line. Me and my man talk everyday. He calls me everyday. Majority of the time he call me during the day when we are at world and see each other after work. Usually he invites me over. What I tripped about was that me and him were talking and what caught me off guard was he said sarcastically "You know you love me" but laughing. I pause for a quick second and just started laughing saying "Your too funny". I guess I have been out of commission for a while and dont know what the hell to do now. What do you think. Just playing and dont mean it or mean it but saying it like he is playing?

99% of jokes are just to see how the other person reacts...so that means that maybe he wanted to see how you would react when he brought up the love thing...so he does have feellings for you but maybe is checking if you share the same ones...

i wouldn't stress on it so much. your reading way into what's actually there and the more you over analyze the more your not going to see what's actually there. speaking from experience i have that problem and i ruined the best thing i ever had. so to stop you from making the same mistake, just let things be, it'll all fall into place. he obviously does care for you, he calls you everyday. maybe he's was just doing that just cause you know. I'll put it this way, if he didn't love you he wouldn't spend so much time with you.

the sad thing is... most guys say those sort of things to see your reaction, they want to know where exactly they stand in your personal life. I cant say that he was serious because i've heard that line said many times before from males.. but they hardly ever mean it. so dont worry about it, guys will say anything to keep things interesting

Maybe he was just waiting to see what your reaction would be. Do you love him-or is it too early to tell?
If he brings it up again, then you will know he really wants to know how you feel...Only you know! Maybe try to find an opportunity to say that to him, and see what HIS reaction is....Good Luck!

It could work 2 ways cause i tell people all the time "you know you love me *** holes" but its a joke. Or could have meant it and acted as if he were joking. Just ask him

First of all, he said "You know you love me"
He is not saying that he loves you, he is saying that you love him, to see your reaction.
He can love you, but he wants you to say it first.
Hell, I did the same a couple of times, and it worked, but I was playing by that time.

I think he meant it. I may be wrong but I think he may have strong feelings for you and said that to try and see what you would say (to find out how you really feel about him).
