Would you even consider asking out a girl who has average looks but has a great personality and other great aspects about her? I just want to know if there are some guys out there that value a girl's inner beauty.

I'll give you a straight up answer...
You walk in a room and see a dude from far away... are you attracted to his personality? No, you haven't even met yet! You are attracted to how he looks. Nothing wrong with that. The cool part in a relationship is that if you find someone attractive and then they are really nice, it makes them 100 times MORE attractive. The same can be true for the opposite. I met a girl last week that was beautiful! we got to talking and not only was she dumb as a log, but swore like a sailor and had the maners of a donkey. That obviously made her less and less attractive. Go with your heart, if it all matches up then great! If not... there are some 6 billion people in this world... there is someone out there for all of us!

Yes I would,and this is why. Too many people judge people by their looks only. This is wrong. If she has a nice smile and laughs at my dumb jokes and can honestly answer some simple questions she has my full attention. Looks are not everything,its like looking at a flower you can see the beauty, but until you look deeper you can never really appreciate the whole flower,the sent,the softness of the petals. This is why most men have so many bad relationships they chose poorly and only look for outer beauty insted of what lies within. Yeah I consider myself to be average,but most of the women that I have dated say the same thing, if your nice and you treat them well,give them comfort when they need it,keep them laughing,and just be warm, they love it. To guy's who think I'm full of it.......your wrong, try it sometime and see for yourself all women really want is someone who cares.

Good looks are what sparks an intrest in the first place. So all you heros that want to say they arent important are full of it. How would you even get to know her personality if you werent physicaly attracted to her in the first place! Honestly, how many guys out there look at an unattractive woman at a bar and say "check out the personality on that gal!" Ive known some drop dead hot ladies with the personality of a banchee and they were completly unattrctive to me also.

I think that it's a woman's femininity that matters. Quite often this corresponds with conventional physical beauty but not always. I work with a woman who is not what most people would call beautiful but she has a boyfriend and another guy has asked her out recently!
She is very feminine and nice and us men find that delightful. I think she would make an excellent girlfriend for most men. She certainly has what you might call inner beauty. Men do notice that.

I would jump at the chance to be with a woman you describe. Physical beauty will fade with the passage of time. Spiritual beauty will last a lifetime, the soul be immortal. How important are good looks? Not as important as good intentions.

Good looks and a great personality is great, but I just mainly want a great personality, as long as the girl is not butt ugly, which you shouldn't have to worry about.

i know im a chick but all i wanted to say is that if you think you look fly they what does it matter about what the guys think...im an average looking girl but i have confidence in my inner and outer beauty and thats what is beautiful...

Well, I'm picky (yes I'm soooo picky that I don't even refer to it as being shallow)... the one thing I can't stand is somebody who is overweight... slender = fun ... Other than that, the only features that really matter are butt, boobs, and face (also really picky about the face, must be cute or sexy, or a mix), the butt has to pop out farther than the back, and the boobs have to look round at least with a bra... yeah...

Looks do matter to a guy. You need to try being sexier for men. Go to the Gym and lose weight. Make guys want you.
