GOOD QUESTION! I'm a child made by his own image. Now, I do belong to God because I ask Jesus to come in my heart and to forgive me of all my sins. Now Job who also believed the same way. The devil had to ask God for promise if he could mess with Job. The Devil really did a job on JOB. Howeve;r as you read the end of the story. JOB got back all he lost plus double of what he had.
Prayer is a very strong and powerful weapon against the devil. I pray all the time. and I rebuke him daily in the Name of Jesus. I stomp him beneath my feet where he belongs.finally to answer to your question: JOB and like myself have the spirit of God in us through salvation therefore Christ is in me not the devil.

No, the devil is not inside of us, we get weak and allow the devil to lead us to do bad things.
