I am not Islamic but I was told that Ishmael was the start of Islam and Mohamed was the prophet that kicked the whole religion off, just like Christ kicked off Christianity (whether he intended to or not)

it's really some radicals earlier last century, less than 100 years old that turned it militant based on typical picking and choosing scriptures to follow
Islam means perfect submission
not really what free people want
