You need to find a shampoo and conditioner that don't weigh your hair down. Just about everyone makes products for fine/limp hair. Use a mousse, hair spray, a blow dryer, and more hair spray. I have really flat hair, too. After I wash my hair, I apply a mousse, then blow dry for about 5 minutes, then spray it with hair spray, and blow dry with hair flipped over. It gives body, and you can also scrunch it. When finished spray again with hair spray. Your hair won't be stiff from all of the hair spray.

I suggest using Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner, then the body infusing mousse. Put most of the mousse on your roots, then spread throughout hair. Flip your head upsidedown and blowdry for a couple minutes. Next (not upsidedown) blowdry until dry with a boarbristle round brush to add volume. =]

Try putting mousse in your hair then blowdrying your hair with your head upside down. Then when it's done drying flip your head over and spray hairspray or wax on it. Hope I helped and good luck!

if you blow dry your hair..try blowing drying your hair upside down.. like tilt your head upside down so your hair goes straight down. make sure you buy hair spray that has a volumizer in it b/c mousses are a heavy cream that wont lift your hair. it would just sit there and dry hard. or try back combing your hair.(teasing) just towards the back. so it looks like you have volume.

I really love BIG HAIR by Charles Worthington, from Alta. It's not expensive either. You will love this stuff for fine, limp hair.
