The spirit (or life force) returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7.

Depends on whether you have accepted Christ as your Savior. If you have you do not have anything to worry about, your spirit goes to Heaven.

If not, unfortunately, your spirit will spend eternity in Hell.

You have a choice in the afterlife, just like here on earth- Smoking or Non Smoking. ;-)

I can't speak for every one, but once I had an out of body experience, and I went to this place where every one who had gone on be for me was there, including my family members. It was an aw some experience, one that I will never forget and I did not want to come back, but I was told that it wasn't my time yet and that I had to return to earth. this place was so remarkable. every one was playing and singing and every thing was so peaceful unspeakable joy like I have never felt before or since. so yes I think that our souls do meet in the after life until the day of judgment, when God will decide where we will spend eternity.

It depends what you believe, all religions I think are pretty much the same thing, except Christianity, which is not a religion, but a faith. If you believe in God and have accepted him as your personal Savior, and live by the Word, then when you die, your spirit will go to Heaven. But, it you don't believe in God, and have not accepted him as your personal Savior, and don't live by his Word, then when you die, your spirit will go hell, where you will stay for eternity!

After the physical death, man's soul enters the spiritual world. All people meet each other there, like all babies meet here after their temporary lives in the wombs. The blind and deaf babies are unable to recognise other people around them. If we refused to develop our spiritual vision and hearing, we would suffer much longer the same suffering like the disable babies.
The parents are responsible for their children disability, while we would be responsible for our disability in the next world, because we chose to disobey the guidance of the Messengers of the One True God.

Well, first of all, our soul is different than our spirit. If you are saved, your spirit contains God, and you are not going to "hell". But your soul is what God is trying to save now. There is a reward for those who have let the Lord spread into their soul.

There's no way to know for sure. What one believes all depends on ones religion, knowladge, experiences in life and personality.

Personally I believe that that our souls will descend to a higher plane of being. I also believe that we will learn more than we ever thought possible and that life will be peacefull and utterly blissfull. This may however be impacted by the fact that I am a
practising muslim. =)

You can pre determine your afterlife and where you will be spending it if you accept Jesus as your savior or not. I accepted Jesus as my savior and with out a doubt, i am going to heaven. Praise the Lord! Where will you be spending eternity? The choice is yours.

I like to think that the spirits of the good go to another level.
And the spirits of the bad roam the earth in limbo.
