Each can is labeled with a "Best Before" date. Product within its recommended shelf life would have best quality, freshness and performance. We would not recommend using product beyond the indicated date for quality reasons.

What about it? Canned goods are often good for a long time after the stamped expiration date. If the can has rust, toss it. If you open it and it has an unusual odor, color, or consistency, throw it out. Otherwise use it.

Toss it! You wouldn't use expired regular milk.

You need to rotate your pantry a little more often.... if it's only a week or two, you're probably OK. But that joker must be ANCIENT... gotta be, for canned foods to expire!

If the can is not open it should keep for a lonnnnnng time. But if its open, sniff and toss.
