The hypocrisy is mind boggling. They devote so much time and attention to telling people how great god is, unless you actually ask. Then the answer is "Why do you care? Go away." Just goes to show how religion is mostly arrogance. They don't really want any answers, they just want to pretend like they already have them so they can feel superior.

Agnostics take both sides of the fence. It's a safe place to be. That way you can go through life not having to be accountable for anything. I'm glad you are asking questions. I'm sorry people are rude to you. I hope you find all your answers. In comment to what the other said. Perhaps she was asking you why you care. Do you? If you find out the answers what are you going to do with it? God would rather have you cold than luke warm. He does not wish to have fair weather friends. I am not the one who is saying this, I am quoting the bible. This is what God says. So ask away!

Absolutely...we know that we don't know...so we seek out the truth. The others don't care about finding truth...they believe that they've already found it and will not give it up no matter what the evidence might say. It's a kind of spiritual (psychological) security blanket for them. As long as they hold tight then they don't have to fear anything.
