I think it's a good question and the words in the explanation should make some think. In fact with so few of answers I think those who love to just answer with the rote process just passed this one up.
I do like that in my opinion when one does dig a little deeper into words and the word meaning that are used, explained or lived out in ones life by example but not really mentioned. I love it when one does go to a dictionary once in a while and is surprised at a word, a simple word like "let" and see that it has opposing meanings in help or hinder. I also like it much better whenone ask a good question here and all the normal sermon posters are afraid to answer. Nice to read some answers and not have to scroll over a lot of sermons.
It is a great experience for me to try to see some of what you see based upon the stated details added to your question. I never told an Atheist that he was a Pantheists because I never heard of that word before you did mention it. I had always said that they do have a religion for with zeal they do persue their beliefs. So for me thanks for teaching me a new word, but I doubt if I will use it. I am a simple guy who likes the simple words OK. Besides if an Atheists want to tell me he has no religion I will accept it as his view. I will still have my thoughts but I then will just keep them to myself.
I guess I am guilty of what you have ask for I label myself also. I am a "NO" and I am very happy to say that. For to me it means I am a free lancer and not bound to anyone or any group. In fact I am the only "NO" I know. I did try the word Noist in the Yahoo dictionary and got a sorry. So I tried a Noism and got no ism. That no ism gave me 35 choices from "No as Adj." to "point of no return" as possibilities. Am I in trouble in your view by labeling myself as a "NO"?
If I am for now I will not change cause I am content and just enjoying this Yahoo Q&A OK
P.S. this looks like the second question you ask that I did find and answer. You do impress me with some of your thoughts. In my view keep it up OK ha ha But then that is my view and I could be wrong you know. I do accept that OK
Now do have a great day and do smile along with your deep questions OK

We are socialized to believe that the labels represent the only choices. We conform because we are indoctrinated from the time we are DNA to believe certain ways. Most people don't realize that, had their parents been believers of different things, they would probably believe those beliefs just as strongly.

Perhaps, in the eyes of those who answer the question, "What is your belief system/religion?' it's a place to start. Perhaps some are not willing to verbalize their practised beliefs as opposed to their professed beliefs.

I refer to myself as a Pagan and Witch that follows a path that closely resembles Wicca.
I feel this helps me explain my beliefs without limiting myself to one particular flavor.

i'm an orthodox Jew. i replaced into born and raised in a mundane Jewish abode and chosen to become Orthodox after a selection of of concept. i replaced into no longer in any way forced into it the determination replaced into completely my own and that i settle for that different human beings produce different ideals and mutually as mine are impressive for me they do no longer look to be going to be impressive for every physique else. I do believe in G-d and that's my impressive purely as different human beings chosen to no longer believe for his or her motives. I even have accompanied yet another course for some years and that i'm pleased with the path I even have chosen. As for brainwashing why could desire to human beings continuously think of that religious human beings have been brainwashed and why is brainwashing purely ever utilized relating to faith and not something? i would be incorrect on that one. To the poster who has in no way had a prayer responded; all prayers are responded yet in specific situations the respond isn't any and that i be attentive to which would be disappointing. Why do i believe in my faith? properly I did look at different ideals first and that i found that they weren't at occupied with me;to illustrate i could no longer be a piece of a faith that tells those of alternative faiths that they are doomed to eternal damnation and the extra I discovered approximately my own faith the extra it appealed. I even have continuously believed in G-d for as long as i will undergo in techniques and that i individually don't be attentive to how my concept got here approximately yet at a definite evaluate my existence i desperate to channel my concept into something extra beneficial and that's whilst my seek began which ultimately led me to watching my Jewish faith. I could desire to declare that i do no longer believe in blind faith and that i firmly believe that asking questions is so considerable.
