I lived in Anaheim for over 20 years. Whether you think its nice or not depends on what you are comparing it to and where you are from. The weather is very nice, but tends to have bad air quality in the summer. Traffic can be very congested at rush hours, and especially around Disneyland. West Anaheim, where D'land is, is an older area and cheaper in rents and real estate. Anaheim Hills is nicer, but more expensive and hotter in summer. Anaheim is very centrally located in OC and you can get almost anywhere easily.

It's a little like LA. There are some good and some bad areas. If you move to Ana from LA you should feel right at home. Here in Ana hiem we have the LA Angels!

yes it is. I am from huntington beach. pretty close by. there are some very nice neighborhoods in the anaheim hills
