Modern mainstream mormons do not have multiple wives - it's a part of their history.
I'm sure there are plenty of sources to learn more about mormonism - try wikipedia to start.

It is against the Mormon church to practice polygamy, the groups that do that are off shoots of the religion, but definitely not Mormon. BYU is a university that anyone, not just Mormons can go to. It's like the University of Notre Dame, which is a Catholic University, but my non-Catholic friend went there. Besides that there are no other Mormon schools. There are over 12 million members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints world wide and most of things you will hear about the religion are total lies. We do not do any rituals at church. It's open to the public so anyone can come see. It's very similar to all the other Christian churches.

I can give you lots of information...just ask.
NO, we do not practice polygamy.
A man can be sealed to more than one woman, if one has died and he remarries.
What do you consider an odd ritual? Just because it is kept sacred by us, most people who know nothing about it automatically assume that it is "weird" or "scary" or "cult-like" when on the contrary things we do in the temple are very sacred , special, and ordained of God.
BYU? So, there are no Catholic schools, or any other private church schools besides BYU? Hmmmmm.....
You can read about our basic beliefs at LDS.org
Just please don't believe everything you hear, at least get the info from the source and not from anti groups or Mormon haters. Most of what they spread about us is fabricated or exaggerated. We are just normal people trying to live God's commandments.

No we do not have many wives, although many did practice polygamy back in the 1800s as did many non members also. and we do not do any odd rituals, it may be odd becuase people may not understand. But thats the way life is, it's weird becuase we don't understand. Byu is awesome, I don't personally go but I do live right by it and my best friend goes there, if I had good enough grades i would go forsure.
But to go into further detail about marriage Our phrophet Gorden B. Hinckley and the twelve apostles gave us the Proclamation to the World. hopefully this website works. if not it's lds.org.
wow and don't follow the jim guys advice,

The Church of Latter Day Saints, (Mormons), made polygamy
a matter of choice long ago, and stopped condoning it as
a general practice of its faith. I have studied into polygamy in many societies. I think the fact many polygamists want to make the marrying age for a woman 9 years old, says it all.

Modern day Mormons do not have lots of wives. There are some 'sects' that still do practice polygamy (I think there are only a few sects and there are primarily in Utah).

I was raised as a Mormon I married my wife in the LDS temple. YES there is a strange ritual they do in the temples but only there not in their churches. They believe that the Father in heaven was once a man like we are and if we live right we can become a God like He is. That is pretty cultic don't you think. If you get this from them they won't tell you about their strange ideas until they have you hooked. They believe in works salvation so the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus is not sufficient to save mankind.. They are dangerous to your very salvation stay away!!! Jim

No, we don't have plural marrages anymore, (and didn't you just ask a question about a missionary friend of yours?) (if not:) i could send some missionaries your way, and they could clear up some confusion and stuffs......(and,(this is partly for that "Jim B" guy) the grace of God WILL save you if you are willing to ask with humility and love in your heart). We also believe in eternal families, so when you find that special someone, you could be with them and the rest of your family, it doesn't have to be "till death do you part" !!!! just a happy thought....
