i got thunderbird great but how do i open my mail in explorer 7?

do i have to close my home page to open thunderbird

nope nope. you just have to enter the website address of your email (sorry you havent stated what email address you're concern with so i can probably give you the website) on IE ...

one's a web browser. the other is an email client. both can be open at the same time as they are not competing for the same info or resources.
