can you really truly be in love with someone, or is it just that you want to be in true love. and who here has found it.

HMMM that a hard one some people find true love and other people don't but i thuink its just that people want to so bad that it they just say they are

Lord at some of these answers....Of course there is such a thing as being truly in love with someone. And me and my hubby are truly in love with eachother. The people sitting up here saying there is no such thing is because they are either young or havent had the chance to find it yet..but in time will.

There is only one true love and that is the love you feel for your child. Any other love is just for the moment. I've thought I had true love but I am always wrong wich only leads me to beleive you can never truly be in true love because you never realy no what the other person is feeling.

I think it's just about a period of time when you think you deeply love someone ...that happens but it may not last forever so it depends also on what you call true love...I have loved someone soooo much like more than myself and I would do ANYTHING for him but after a while he stopped loveing me JUST LIKE THAT well cause I love him as I still do I want him happy always so I let him go and have his own life and be happy even if that's not with me so it might have happened for a while but I wouldn't really call it a true love.:-)

Love is love...all of it is "true", otherwise it wouldn't be love (it would be something else).
Of course love exists...you can look around you any day and see people in love...just because it hasn't crossed your path, doesn't mean it hasn't crossed anyone else's.
I have been in love a several times...it's a fabulous feeling.
There are people however, who are just in love with the idea of being in love...and that's a whole different issue.

Yes, you can truly be in love with someone. I found it and then I lost it, but it was wonderful while it lasted. Apparently I was not his true love, but he sure is mine!!

I think true love is a bunch of crap. Love is so wishy washy that its hard to be certain that you really love a person and or not just mesmerized by their physical characteristics or infatuated with their personality.

i think its more of the idea of being in love/having true love for some people. right now i dont believe in it and im not going to look for it either. you have to love yourself before you can love someone else.

If you will get love from your mom , that will be only pure and true, and others love will be not true in any circumstances.

Yeap, true love does exist. Is when you love that other person more than you love yourself, you accept her/him for who she/he is and would not want to spend anytime, anywhere with any other person.
