Not much thought behinnd this question. A tidal wave would not wipe out the island of Hawaii with its two mountains over 11,000 feet tall. And a tsunami couldn't wipe out the other ilands that compse the state of Hawaii either.

But what you probably meant is could/would/will a tsunami wipe out the PEOPLE and cities of Hawaii. Again the answer is probably no. The topography of the islands would prevent even the largest tidal wave from wiping out all the cities.

Still there is no question that the most populous areas of Hawaii are right on the shore, and are individually vulnerable to tidal waves.

No worry brah, but if youlike invest in land, I can sell you some dat going be beachfront one of these days, just call me up, or ask Gilligan, he know which coconut tree I live by. Aloha Brah! By the way, we get one active volcano ben going off since 1983, but dat not going wipe out da Island either, but in 5000 years going get one new island called Loihi. You like be da first foa by land on dat Island? You Know how foa get in touch with me.
