Renu is an East Indian name- I went to school with a girl named with a girl named Renu (pronounced Ree-noo), not sure what it means. Might be a teasing name though...

You might want to reconsider the spelling of it as that's the brand name of a contact cleanser.
If you like the meaning, then maybe find a different language of the word and name her that.

Please don't saddle your child with this name (which is also a contact lens product). Imagine the years of kidding she will get if she decides to become a librarian!
If you are set on using this name, why not save it for the middle name? Less embarrassing.
