SICILY can be a alternate spelling of CECILY, which is a variant form of CECELIA, from the Latin name Caecilia, meaning A MEMBER OF THE [LEGLESS] LIZARD FAMILY; or from the Latin caecus meaning BLIND or DIM-SIGHTED.
Saint Cecelia from the second or third century AD was known to be blind. There doen't seem to be any particular meaning to the specific spelling "Sicily" other than the Mediterranean island which was the origin of the mysterious "Mafiosi" or "Mafia"

Sicily is like a providence of Italy, no meaning that I'm aware of.

It's that big Island like the football to Italy's boot.

Neat name, might want to make it a middle name and something more conventional for a first name.
