If you could prove evolution as a scientific fact, not just a theory, then I would believe it. We're talking Macro evolution here. The whole deal, cosmic, chemical, and biological evolution. You prove it as an actual fact, and I'll believe it.

By the way, you're awfully zealous about your faith in evolution. That makes it a religion in my book.

I never did see the first two questions you asked but my opinion and PROOFon this is...evolution cannot save me so... whatever evolved was through God. I read, I understand, and I think and here is my reply. The definition of Evolution is: a process of change in a particular direction; one of a series of prescribed movements (such as in a dance or military excercise); the process by which something attains its distintive characeristics; a theory that existent types of plants and animals have developed from previously existing kinds. To evolve. Keep in mind that evolution is just that it is a" theory". This is why God takes all in this reply and God made all so as far as evolution goes, the proof is in God who created it all. The proof is not if there is evolution. The proof is in God who created and that is a FACT. Evolution is a "THEORY. Do you understand it now?

I can see how frustrated you are getting hon, and trust me, it is not worth it, as a Christian, I believe that some scientists have been trying to understand this very theory. Some things can not be explained, I wish they could. It would be so much easier for the "Norm", and then all of this would not be an issue.
I happen to believe in a "Big Bang Theory" but I hate to say this to you....it goes hand in hand, with my faith.
You may not understand this, but just as you are pleading with others to understand, Think, this is your reply.
Out of curiosity, Let's say, there is life on another planet, but nothing more than organisms and a body of water, I believe that over time, not in our time, but in time, these organisms will eventually swim, breathe, crawl, and walk. With this, I have to include, that (God) created all the heavens and earth. This is why Christians believe that God created the Universe and not Evolution, because he set the stage for the Big Bang to occur.
The missing link is the stage between a true ape and a sentient thinking human being. Scientists think this is still out there, but have not found it, so you still may get your answer.

The theory of evolution has not been proven yet...they're still looking for the missing link, they thought that they did several times and it has never (ever) been right.
That's one opinion for you.
But I don't think that you're going to get the answer that you want.
Try to read this...understand it...think...and react.
It's not so much a matter of what it will take to prove evolution for a Christian (I am one by the way), it's being able to disprove the Bible...that's why people kept bringing the Bible up to you...they're showing you that nothing has ever proven the Bible wrong and that's why we believe in it.

Well, I am not religious, but I consider myself loosely spiritual. If I were fervently religious, I would say that I would need to be presented with a concrete bit of evidence that science and religion are in fact one; for example, for someone to prove that the Big Bang theory was correct, but that it was God himself or some deity that initiated this event would help to change my perception of creation. In relation to evolution, I would say that it would be necessary for someone to prove that one original species was created by God, but that he/she/it gave it the ability to adapt to its environment. These things will most likely never be solidly proven, however, because society has placed far too much of a taboo on the marriage of science and religion as being truly one. Is that more what you were looking for in an answer?

This question cannot truthfully be answered. As a Christian who believes in the evidence and proof for creation you are asking me what lies would it take for me to turn from the truth. Truth is absolute, regardless of your personal beliefs. 2+2=4, this is an absolute truth. What you are asking is, what if everyone REALLY REALLY REALLY wants it to be 5? What would it take you to stop believing 2+2=4 and start believing like everyone else that it is 5. What would it take for you to stop believing what you believe and know as truth?

I almost get the feeling as though you are asking this question hoping a religious (Christian) person will say something to which you already have proof and an answer to that you believe science has answered so they can stop believing creation and start believing in evolution.

There is nothing that would cause me to believe in evolution. No proof at all. I have seen many many theories but no proof because there isn't any. I cannot prove God to you either.

So you want to know what kind of prove it would take; okay, Have your evolutionist cross two monkeys get a man, Have your evolutionist cross two squirrels and get a man, Have your evolutionist cross two ducks and get a man, Have your evolutionist cross a rabbit and a chicken and get a dog. The list could go on but I think you may be can understand this.

Well all I would need to see is evidence that all the supossed missing links between all species involved (since picaia to actual humans, which means millions of links) existed, just that...simple isn't it?
Uppp...i forgot to mention i haven't seen even one so far...

By the way, that wouldn't change the fact that was God who created picaia and it ancestors

I consider myself a religious person but I belive in evolution. Belief is not the right word (you don't say I belive in Gravity), but I know it happens and happened. People who can't see that evolution exists when it is so obviously true are foolish, but I doubt anything will change their minds.
