Your Pit Bull will reach it's full height in about 9 months to a year. It will begin to turn lean muscle into bulk muscle from 12-20 months and right at about 20-24 months you will start to notice changes in his or her face as well as little extra muscle groups you hadn't noticed before.

By 10 months, most likely all of her adult teeth are in. You say she gets plenty of playtime. Research the pit bull bread and make sure she is getting the amount of exercise necessary for this breed. There is a saying "a tired puppy makes for a happy puppy, and happy owner". In addition to bones, add in things like Kongs that you can stuff with different foods to make it an adventure. Putting frozen canned food (I freeze mine in cylindrical ice cub trays) inside the Kong makes it even more of a challenge for the dog. If the only thing your pup has chewed up is the garden hose, then it may be something that can be resolved by giving her other toys to chew on. Like a child, rotate the toys so an old toy will seem new again. If the chewing is part of additional issues, check with your vet for a good trainer who uses positive reinforcement techniques. A single private session put us on the right track with our pup. Best of luck!

They are considered puppies until they are 2 yrs old. As for growth, I think they max out on height around 6 months to a year and for the next year they fill out with muscle.

They shouldnt grow anymore after a year. They should stay on puppy food until 1 yr old, becuase they are still growing up until that point. She's probably only about 25lbs or so now, dont worry she will be a big one.
