comfront him about what? i dont know how he broke his promise cause i dont know what the promise was

try using "i statements" that go like this... when this happens, i feel, because. this takes the focus off something he did wrong and is less likely to put him on the defensive. you cannot use the word "you" in an "i statement". so maybe try something like this... when i was promised this _____, i fell really hurt, because _____. "i statements" can be a very effective tool of communication, but it takes some practice. hope this helps.

Comfort or confront? And I think it all depends on what he "promised." Some men/boys will lie to get what they want. Didn't you know that?

Don't confront him, he'll just say what he knows you want to hear.
Just leave, he'll know why, and he'll know that is the best thing for both of you. Even if he can't say it.
But do not confront him about this, it could get out of control and be dangerous!

not worth it, let him go. i can only assume what you are talking about! but if he promised you something, then didn't keep that promise, he'll do it again and again. don't waste your time. you will get over the hurt, we all do. i will pray for you. pray for me.

This isn't about you. Take yourself out of it. His problems are his. You can choose to be hurt, but he didn't do it to hurt you. He has this weakness. He has let himself down if he meant it at all. You are probably not the one who can help him with it.
