I'm going to this dance and I want this guy to ask me or I figure out a way to ask him. I know he likes me because he is all ways talking to me and making me laugh. How do I get him to ask me or how do I ask him.

Say, "Are you going to the dance?" After he gives you the answer, assuming that he doesn't say he is going with someone else, say "Would you like to go together?" Just be confident. Whether or not he wants to go with you or not, he will be flattered that you asked.

I know he may seem like he likes you, but does he really? It is possible that he is just a nice person.
The only way you'll figure this out, though, is if you ask him. Guys don't take hints, though, so don't say "man, I wish I could go to the dance" or anything stupid like that. Just flat out ask him... if he's interested, he'll be extra-impressed by your boldness.
Good luck and have fun at your dance. Even if you don't go with this guy, it's still fun!

Don't be shy. When you are having fun with him, casually ask him if he is going to the dance. If yes, then ask if he's taking anyone. If no find out why. If he is not taking anyone then suggest you go together. Try not to stutter or blush during the conversation and don't be in fear of rejection. I feel confident that he in no way would want to hurt you. If he has to reject you it will be because he is already committed.
Either way it will give new dimension to your own going friendship.

If you're standing around just talking or something like that, just start dancing. If you're friends anyway, he'll probably think it's cute, and laugh a little. Tell him that he should make you look like less of a dick, and pull him over. Even if it doesn't work perfectly, have fun with it.

Ask him! The worse he could do is say no, but the best that could happen is he'd say yes. You can get over it if he says no, but if you never asked you'd always be asking "what if I did ask him??? what would have happened?" You'd never know.
Besides it sounds like he'd say yes anyway!

ASK HIM! just be confident with yourself, and have it come up in a casual conversation. i promise, he'll be so flattered that YOU asked him first. he's probably going through the same thing as you right now. good luck, girl!

when you are talking and laughing with him,,,just say
hey!,,,we always have fun together,,,and,,,, I think it would be great if you asked me to go to the dance with you.
then you pout, flutter your beautiful eyes and say,,,,pleeeeezzz
no guy can resist the pout.
