I get a nice loaf of bread..(I prefer to get this apple cinnamon bread from the bakery), then I cut it into somewhat thick pieces. Then I take 2-3 eggs and beat them with just a splash of milk and a dash of cinnamon and vanilla. I take the bread, dip it in the egg mixture and then place in a frying pan that has a bit of butter in it. I cook both sides until they are slightly brown. Then after they are done I either top them with butter and syrup, butter and confectioners sugar or my favorite...apple pie filling. That sounds so good right now!
