Feeling blah is normal, hormone changes, bloating, cramps and the inconvenience of the whole thing. Some people do not have a problem with this some really go thru mood changes. All I can say from experience is to not dwell on the fact that you are mensturating and go about your day as normal. If cramps are and issue take a midol.

I guess I am in the vast minority here. I actually have no problems with my moods or anything along those lines. No PMS or anything. My husband can even back me up on this. The only time my moods were effected was when I was on a birth control pill with too high of hormone levels. Changed that quickly. But my mother always told my sister to take baths to releve cramps, and drink what ever kind of hot tea that makes you feel good.

Ok well...Try taking a warm bath. That lessens the pain of cramps. If your still hurting, the best thing is to take some pain killer, like Tylenol. Cutting back on salty foods and caffeine helps when you have headache, backpain, moodiness, feel emotional, etc. And of course, chocolate, music and laughter, help. They're pretty much the ultimate medication. =P.
Overall, do more things that you enjoy.

It's a very complicated process:
1. I go for a long walk in the evening instead of going to my aerobics class
2. I eat Ben & Jerry's Coffee Toffee Heath Crunch Ice Cream
3. while watching one of my favorite movies
4. I get a pedicure or manicure or something like that
5. Instead of going out dancing or partying, I invite my girls over for a movie nite
6. And take lots of pamprin
He he he... its the same every month X )

Take a wash cloth and put it under steaming hot water. Then fold up the wash cloth and put it in a ziploc bag. Put the bag under your shirt right on your lower stomach...it feels sooooo good!
Chocolate, Starbucks, and Midol always helps too!
