I have had grey hair since I was 11 years old. My people (family) says that when you get grey hair when your young, that means wisdom. I believe it because I have always been much more mature and smarter than all the dummies my age. However, I will always have grey hair, and by the time I hit 30, its probably gonna be over for any other color of my hair!

It's genetic... It also shows up more depending on the hair color. It's more visible in brunettes than blondes or redheads. Redheads seem to go white the slowest, my grandfather was still mostly red even in his seventies.
