This is a new generation. Kids are getting smarter and smarter. I guess it is something in the genes or maybe it has something to do with parents starting there children off early with school and teaching them things at home also. Alot of parents are focusing on their children learning math and things early. But kids don't know everything now, come on somethings they don't know. But probably you meet children that knew more than you then, that's a damn shame, cause I didn't meet that much that knew a whole lot more than me.

they don't know more than us, its impossible. its that you have forgotten what its like being a kid and another thing is that you have not kept up with technology. So it would appear as though they know more because they are talking about things to which you have no knowledge, and because it happens so often, when they come to you about simple things to which you should have an answer, you still have no answer because of the fear of another follow on question to which you may really be thrown for a loop. So now you've taken yourself out of the game and off the field, to stay in the house to clean, cook and do laundry. So, is life over for you. NO, join a group or club, tell your kids what you know and don't know or you can let them show you a few things. its never to late to interact with your kids. You taught them in the beginning, now let them teach you. They will still love you.

Because kids are maturing faster these days. They usually hear all kinds of stuff on the bus or in school. At least thats where I hear half of the stuff I know now.
