If he doesn't tell you (or have his friend tell you) you cannot be sure. I would suggest you meet his smiles with your own and enjoy the act of getting to know each other better. There is no need to rush. Take your time. This is the best part. You don't know what you're getting into so be alert and don't let your emotions blur your perception of him.
Personally I don't recommend heavy flirting. It can send a message you might eventually regret.

If he's constantly picking on you, and always lookin. Just do the exact same thing as him, like if he's always bothering you then do that, if he jokes with you joke back, I hope I was some help anyway good luck

oh no! please... girl when a guy fancies you. you can tell. just be natural and do what your body tells you like licking your lips and swinging your butt around. don't be doing nasty stuff around him ok , like farting or walking around with snort. otherwise he loses interest
