NO MEN! Seriously, men answering this question, is like having a man answering questions about being pregnant. I'm not saying that you can't answer and give insight, but it's just not the same, okay? Don't worry, I'm sure I'll have men only questions too :o)
Hello all,
I just had a question about something that I saw on the Tyra Banks Show (no I don't get my religious education on talk shows, but the woman did say something that sparked my interest). Anyway, it was the show on "Race Issues" and they had some Muslimahs up there talking about the hijab and one of the women said (okay, I know it's not an exact quote, but it's pretty darn close) "The hijab is not just a peace of cloth, it's a lifestyle." I thought this quote was very interesting. What does it mean?
Seriously, no men please. I really don't think that you could give a full anwer to what the hijab is and what it means to you, since you don't wear it.
Thank you for your answers. I look forward to reading them all!

"Las Vegas Steve" You didn't address my question. Please save your answer for the question "Does Islam Respect Women?" (or something related to that answer) and not on mine. This wasn't what I asked for. There was no need to go out of your way to state that.
"Julia" Some kind words you have for me there but really, there's no need for childish behavior. It was my question to pose and I asked politely if men would not answer. I was not rude about it (unlike yourself). Does it mean anyone's actually going to follow it, example: yourself? It's a question that you couldn't (as you claim yourself to be non-religious) nor didn't answer, but you got your 2 points, so what do you care? Congratualtions!
