Religion is simply a code of beliefs that are passionately held. Look it up in the dictionary.

Tell me then, is a wacko leftist idealogue who believe the world should be X and Y any less religious than an Islamists who believe the world should be run by Islamic law?

Religion isn't about left and right. True and genuine spirituality is not concerned with great political conflicts of the secular world, but in the awareness, health, happiness, healing and salvation of the human heart.

Going back to the origin of Left, the Communism, they said that "religions are the opium of the people".
All religions were banned in the U.R.S.S. (Russia).
Please, do not confuse religions with ideologies. The only thing in common may be fanaticism.

Physician, heal thyself.

I very much enjoy the way that you have reduced the complex issues in the world to a simplistic generality - way to go!

Your question is like a big jelly donut, with cream on top.

What is a leftist?

Huh?

In The name of ALLAH, Most Gracious,Most merciful.

O you that reject Faith!

I do not worship that which you worship,
Nor will you worship that which I worship.
And I will NOT worship that which you want to worship,
Nor will you worship that which I worship.
To you be your Way and to me mine.
