Did you know Pepsi originted in the late 1800's? I didn't know it was that old. Also, Coca Cola contained a small amount of Cocaine (yes!) which was gradually reduced and then eliminated in 1906.

I actually like Pepsi better, but whenever i'm out somewhere i'll say, "I'll have a Coke," or whenever I go to the shop, I'll always go straight to the cans of Coke. It just seems natural for me even though I like Pepsi better.

Make mine a Diet Pepsi! I will drink a Diet Coke if they don't carry Pepsi. My preference is Pepsi. I have drank them since I was a kid and prefer the taste better. Yes I knew about the cocaine and Coke. And to the person that said that Pepsi was an old persons drink----Wrong! Coke has been around longer than Pepsi and a lot of older generation won't have anything else. At least that was the way it was when I was young. One other thing it had to be a 6 & 1/2 oz. size only for them. When I was a kid my Dad would give my brother and I $.25 and we would walk to the corner store and get 2 16oz. Pepsi's, 2 bags of Frito corn chips, and 3 used comic books for that $.25.

Coca Cola is my pic. Too bad about that thing in the 1906. If they didn't do away with that I bet they wouldn't even need a marketing plan!
I just like Coke better than Pepsi cuz of their Diet Soda's. Regular Pepsi is better to me, but I like Diet Coke, Diet Cherry Coke, etc. better than the Pepsi alternative.

I like Pepsi by far, because it's sweeter. When I go to a restaurant or theater that has Coke, I ask them to add a little root beer to make it taste more like Pepsi (it works!) How weird that you would buy Coke at the store when you prefer Pepsi! You're being drawn in by their advertising, LOL.

My opinion is that it depends what you're mixing it with. Bourbons like Makers or Jack Daniels are better with Coke for some reason. Not sure why, maybe because no bartenders ever heard of a jack and pepsi

Why what? Why do both exist? Competition i.e., getting a share of a huge market. Giving consumers choice. Do you mean which to choose? Coke is sweeter, larger bubbles.

Pepsi--
It doesn't leave that sugary feeling on my teeth like Coke. [Coke's too sweet, unless it's from a soda fountain.]
