only for a short period of time! i had a gastric bypass a few yrs back. it took me a while to tolerate anything. until my system adjusted i had gas and bowel upsets etc. the key to all of this is regularity in foods. get on a balanced diet. keep your self on it.. regardless! leave caffeine and soft drinks off the menu. red meat in moderation. eat a lot of fish and veg's. canned or frozen is fine. stay away from spicy foods. drink 2% milk 3 cps a day. stay away from quickie can goods with high salt in them. chocolate also has caffeine in it. use it lightly. veg's have so many ways to be fixed. it is not like it use to be. in time you will prefer things this way. so will your digestive track. i know it sound boring. but really it is not. a challenge yes! try it! you`ll thank me. i promise.

Not forever, no. When was the last time you talked to a doctor or nutritionist about this? It's possible that you have a food allergy?
If you can't get to a doctor, or don't want to, try going on a fast (water or juice only) for a few days until you feel better. Then add in your normal foods one at a time. When you start feeling bad again- stop eating whatever you had last.
Good luck!!

no.
liquids cannot give you all the proteins, fats and oils, carbohydrates, vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E, and K that your body requires to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
i promise, if you don't eat- you'll have worse things than constipation...
beri-beri, your blood won't clot properly, you will be more susceptible to diseases, and, without portions of certain foods- your body could not efficiently absorb what nutrients your liquids DID give you.
you could talk to your doctor to see if you could be subscribed to a perscription that would decrease constipation... as for gas- it's called "digestion" and EVERYONE HAS IT WHETHER IT'S OBVIOUS OR NOT.
your doctor also might be able to tell you if you are not getting enough of something in your diet
bottom line_ you don't eat... you die.

Absolutely not! Have you seen a doctor to see if you can find out what's causing these symtoms? If not I would highly suggest that you make an appointment because, I would think that they would be able to find the answer, so that you can eat normal foods and not be so uncomfortable.
Good luck!

all of matter has three states ( some have four) so technicaly you could live off of liquids if you were to reduce everything to it's liquid state.
Or just put it all in the blender.

Maybe but you have to talk to your doctor. Maybe he can treat your health problems instead of trying to live off of liquids.
