I'll give it a shot. I don't have my cards with me, but I'll see what I can do by dealing online.
I've never tried this with someone I don't know, this isn't the exact spread I use, and I've always used my own cards. But here goes:
Atmosphere: 8swords - being imprisoned, self-imposed bondage or difficulty, holding a grudge; being in debt; loosen up!
Obstacle: 8cups - Something is missing; walking away from something, although you're likely to return
Goal: King swords - a 30+ medium-dark haired man, rather cool and aloof - OR - if this represents a situation, it means Get the job done.
Foundation: 6swords - running away from problems - and/or you can't run away because YOU are the problem
Past: 3wands - travel
Near future: 7cups - temptation, having too many choices, the 7 vices, difficult choices
Your role or attitude: 7swords - con man, bad intentions, being or trying to schmooze someone
Environment: Temperance - doing things in moderation; health; cleansing
Hopes/fears: Ace wands - new venture, new energy
Ultimate outcome: 2pentacles - struggling, coping, weighing two options, living paycheck to paycheck; unsure of self in a situation
I would say that perhaps Tommy feels imprisoned by you, or somehow tied to you. Something was missing in your relationship, so he's left, but there's unfinished business so he may be back. His goal is either to get some job done - or that card represents him, if he's at least 30, has medium to dark brown hair, dark or gray eyes, is cool, aloof, emotionally detached....
The foundation of the situation is that he's simply running away from his problems. But he may realize that HE is his own worst enemy. He may be travelling.....
He may now be facing a lot of temptation or difficult decisions. Whatever he's considering, all the options look like candy to him - how can he choose just one thing?
I wouldn't trust him - he may not have bad intentions, but he might be an out and out con artist, or at least someone who will pressure you into doing something you may not wish to.
He's hoping to gain some energy, and he's short of cash.
All in all, he sounds like someone who doesn't know himself very well, and isn't looking very hard. He's also someone who runs off when things get difficult.
As for when you may see him again - I couldn't say. It seems likely you will but I don't know when.

Let go of your need for control and you will find what is meant to be. The harder you struggle for the answers to your questions, the more likely you are to miss the answers when they comes.
Open yourself to the process you are involved in, but don't place expectations or demands as to the outcome.
Be aware that this process is a part of your own personal growth.

Stay away from this stuff. It is not benign. The psychics can not read a person's mind. They can only guess. They can not really for sure know what someone is thinking. Their sources can hear very well, however, so what ever is said they will know about.
